Thomas Ott

Thomas Ott lives and works in Zurich and Paris. The multifaceted artist is a comic illustrator, film-maker and lead singer of the Zurich rock band Beelzebub. As he says himself, he needs his “daily dose of nightmares.” The illustrations for his eerie, macabre stories are scratched onto black-coated paper. His 2012 book Cinema Panopticum was published by edition stephan witschi. In 2007, the gallery organized an exhibition of Thomas Ott's work at the Museum of Medical History in the Latvian capital Riga.
